About & method
Septic Pros of Treasure Valley is an independent directory of septic pumpers serving the Boise / Treasure Valley metro — Ada and Canyon counties. It exists because the alternative is a map: a layer where one company can appear three times under one phone number, nobody's permit status is visible, and the questions that decide the bill (what's included, what's extra) have no home at all.
The method, in the open
- Roster: the Idaho DEQ Permitted Septic Tank Pumpers List (July 2026 update), parsed for the two metro health-district sections, cross-checked against Google's local packs for Boise, Meridian, Nampa and Caldwell. One listing per business — duplicates merged, every known number kept on the listing with its source.
- Permit badges: a badge means the operator is on the state list. No badge means we haven't matched them to it yet — permits often file under a name different from the brand on the truck — and no claim is made either way.
- Phones: published only with a source — the state list or the operator's own Google profile — until a verification call confirms them. Unattributed numbers never publish.
- Prices & fees: operator-stated or not at all. The one range on this site with our name on it ($376–$493, website-quoted residential pumps, October 2026) is attributed and dated. Everything else reads "confirming" until an operator states it.
- Order: cards shuffle on every page load. No sold positions, no favorites.
Who publishes this
The directory is built and maintained by Front Porch Web Studio. It is not a septic company, takes no cut of any job, and is not affiliated with any listed business.
Status of the details
This is a young directory: the roster is built and sourced, the permit badges are checked, and the price & fee rows are filling in as verification calls complete. When a row on a listing says confirming — verification call pending, that's the honest state of that fact on that day. Corrections are welcome and fast: [email protected].
